Sony Ericsson D750i Review

Nokia 9500

When it comes to mobile phones with built in cameras, the Sony Ericsson D750i is the top of the line. Originally marketed as the K750i, this phone is now available in an exclusive package with T-Mobile as the D750i. This change in lettering effectively means that it is the same phone but that it now has the color options of silver and blue.

Just like the K750i, the D750i comes with a 2 megapixel digital camera built in, with the added bonus of an autofocus feature, which allows for crisper picture quality than ever before. The old days of fixed focus (sometimes meaning out of focus) pictures that came out grainy and blurry when blown up to standard photo size are over. With the D750i, your pictures will be as clear as is they were taken with a separate digital camera, not with a simple mobile phone.

This phone has been garnering rave revues by experts and consumers alike. It is, in fact, one of the most well thought out mobiles ever put on the market, with the Sony/Ericsson merger showing its muscle.

The D750i is very “user friendly,” with easier to access buttons, a joystick, and a camera button to aid in navigation. It is not the smallest phone on the market, but it is small enough to be taken almost anywhere, and it comes packed with everything you could ask for in a phone.

From the two megapixel camera to the video recording capabilities (with sound), this mobile takes us to the limit of modern mobile phone technology. Other features include: Bluetooth, USB, and Infra-red connectivity, memory stick for added memory, an mp3 and FM radio player, polyphonic ring tones, instant messaging, E-mail, and the list goes on.

The battery life is more than adequate. With over 9 hours of talk time and 400 hours of standby, you won’t be cursing yourself for forgetting to plug your mobile in the night before. And the Java games embedded in the phone will keep you entertained on those long bus or train rides.

Truly the all-in-one piece of electronics to have, the Sony Ericsson D750i will make many of your other gadgets painfully redundant.
