Nokia 3530 Review

Nokia 9500

If you liked the Nokia 3310 then you will love the Nokia 3530. It is the supped up version of an old classic. It’s not sleek and tiny but it is practical and sensibly stylish. The keypad sports a new funky design, it looks great but is quite difficult to use during text messaging.

The most obvious feature of the 3530 is the addition of a colour screen. With the high resolution screen reaching 4096 colours it presents a clear display that is a great size for game playing. This is combined with java ability and the option to download more games via wap 2. Nokia 3530 also supports GPRS and wap 1.2.1 making enhanced web browsing one of its key features.

You can also have fun with the Nokia 3530 as it does have compatible express on covers. This combined with its wallpaper allows you to personalise your phone easily. It comes with 35 standard polyphonic ring tones that are varied in style and of course the option to download more. However, these tones are quite low in volume.

Where the Nokia 3530 falls short however, is the lack of camera or blue tooth. However, it does support multimedia messaging allowing you to share pictures and ringtones with friends. However you cannot download these off your pc as it lacks infared or cable connection.

The Nokia 3530 has the advance phonebook feature that allows you to add telephone numbers, email, web address and postal address along with a special wallet feature that allows you to securely store your credit card information! Another great feature of the Nokia 3530 is voice dialling. The Nokia 3530, is however, currently only available in Asia and the pacific areas.

The Nokia 3530 can hold upto 500 names and 150 text messages. The talk time of upto four and a half hours and standby time of upto 310 hours is certainly impressive for a phone of its class. The Nokia 3530 is not at the top of the game, however, its price does reflect this and it is still a great bundle at great value. It is not garish or huge it is sensibly bulky and classically styled.
