Nokia 3410 Review

Nokia 9500

The Nokia 3410 is a real step forward in mobile entertainment and functionality, and deserves to be a big success. It is one of the newer additions to Nokia's very popular 3000 series and has a couple of high-end features that make it a lot fun.

The design of the 3410 is virtually the same as that of both the 3310 and 3330 however the screen and keypad have both been given a softer touch. The resolution of the screen has been vastly improved, supporting finer text and graphics and the softer touch keypad has not led to any loss in keypad tactility.

The Nokia 3410 comes with the same features as the earlier phones with the addition of a new range of applications, using Java™ and WAP push.

The Java support offered on the 3410 allows for third-party applications to be used, making downloading the latest games and applications easy. Other application will become available as Java developers create them. The Nokia 3410 has a 150kb memory making it possible to store several java applications at any time.

Nokia have enhanced accesses to WAP services on the 3410 allowing access to downloadable tones, games and images finally making WAP relevant to real mobile users.

The 3410 comes packed with chat messaging, animated screen savers, vibra feature, and predictive text input and the only notable downside to the phone is that typing speeds for messages slow down when typing long messages which most of us can cope with given the huge pluses of the Nokia 3410.
